Most of the landscapes here are the Dead Sea — salt formations exposed as the water retreats, photographed at sunrise, at sunset and from below the surface. Some were made with long exposures that smooth the water to a mirror; others sit half above and half below the waterline. Alongside them are ice landscapes from Iceland and Greenland, and coastlines seen from the air. The work spans more than a decade, and many of these sites have since changed or disappeared.
