Infrared photography, made with a camera converted so its sensor reads light beyond the range of the eye. Foliage reflects that light almost completely, so trees and grass come out white as frost while skies and water stay dark and deep. The result is an entirely familiar landscape in colours it cannot actually have — white cypresses against a deep blue sky, a shoreline with a power station, an abandoned VW Beetle in a field. Made in Israel and Iceland. Every frame in the gallery can be ordered as a print.
